Here are some pictures of the first two cakes I made. The class is so much fun!! I had a really hard time with the zigzag around the base of the "Emma" cake. Otherwise, I love the result. The clown cake was fun (even though I think clowns are super creepy...I really like the clown)! I was surprised how easy the clown was to make; the shell border was also relatively easy.

I had my decorating class yesterday....it was so much fun! I had no idea how hard it was to squeeze a pastry bag for such a long time (I felt like such a wimp!)I'll post some pictures of my first decorating attempt later this week.
School's out next Friday....thank goodness! I can't wait to be able to spend more time with Emma. Speaking of Emma, I can't believe how much she is growing! She's walking more and more (she started taking her first steps about a week ago). It's amazing to see her get excited about everything around her....I especially love how her face always lights up when she sees Chloe!

Anniversary

May 11, 2002....That was my wedding day. The most magical day of my life (with the exception of having Emma)....I can't believe that it's only been 5 years! Time has simply flown by and it just seems to go by faster the older I get. I feel so lucky to have a husband as wonderful as Jason....he's perfect for me! I truly try to make him happy (although I know that I aggravate hime at times) and he does make happy as well (and I can't ask for more than that!)
On another note, Emma started taking her first steps on Tuesday...we're so excited! I just can't believe how big she's getting!Would write more, but am exhausted...can't write in complete sentences anymore....too sleepy.

This is going to be interesting....I'm really going to try to write in this every day. But I'll probably be good for a week and then forget for a month! Well...Mom and I started a cake decorating class last night. We're so excited and even have plans on Saturday to practice and do our homework. Yes, we have homework! I'll post pictures of our efforts!
